How Walmart migrated to React, Components from Microsoft and Create React App

This week a few of the major libraries in React development (Yarn and Create React App) released new versions. We also launched a new blog series "30 Days of React". Go from zero to hero in your React knowledge with our blog series! ✊ We start out with the basics and build up from there.

🍭 Additional goodies in this week's newsletter 🍭

  • At the Nodevember conference last month, Alex Grigoryan talked about Walmart's experience migrating their codebase to React in less than a year. We've included the video of his talk.

  • Microsoft released a new library of components for use with Office and Office 365 applications.

  • Last but not least, we've included a couple of tutorials and articles about Create React App and the motivations behind it's creation as well as how to migrate an existing React application to use Create React App.

Happy Coding!
