Discord migrates to React 16, scaling React on the server, & a toolbelt for offline React Native apps

Whether you're migrating an application to React 16, scaling a React application to handle a larger audience or fixing up code written when you were just learning about React, subtle bugs can creep in and cause quite a bit of frustration. Lucky for us, the authors of some of the tutorials we've included in this week's newsletter have given us a bit of the wisdom they've acquired while going through those "growing pains" so we don't have to!

Also included in this week's newsletter:

  • A library for working with offline React Native apps
  • A "content loader" component that allows you to display a content placeholder while the real content is being fetched from the server
  • Marvin: A React + Redux + Webpack 2 boilerplate with a full-fledged sample app

Happy Coding!
